A Message from Music Director, Ed Bara

Cookies anyone?

True, we are unable to meet as we would like to sing carols and eat cookies like last year. But I thought it might be fun to put together a video of Trinity people singing Christmas songs at home, and stream it out so everyone could watch together. Would you be willing to sing a verse or two of a favorite carol? Sacred or Secular. It’s all ok. I’d be happy to record an accompaniment track for you to play and sing along with. You can record from your laptop or your phone and email me the file and I will take care of the rest. You don’t need to come to the church to record. You can record from your living room. In front of your tree. Or anywhere else that feels like Christmas. All I ask is that you send me a short email (mdtrinityfairview@gmail.com) or a phone call or text (267 307 4058) to let me know what you would like to sing so there is minimal overlap of songs. You are always welcome to reach out to me for questions or comments any time. I’d like to have all videos in by the 20th of December so we can compile and stream before Christmas.

I hope you are all well, and managing as best you can. I miss you and can’t wait to get back to worshiping together.

Blue Christmas Service

This Monday, December 21 is the longest night of the year.  And on this night, we gather for a Blue Christmas community service.  A time to reflect, to ponder, to take a break from daily life to sit with our grief and loss and to know that God is with us.  And that we are with each other, even as we distance.  Watch your email on Sunday, 12/20 for the link for the online service.

Advent Devotional Material

Attached please find two coloring sheets based on today's Gospel reading.  One is more detailed for those who like intricate work & one is more simple for beginners. We would love to use your artwork online if you are willing to share!

Join us at 4pm on every Sunday in Advent as we gather on Zoom for a time of coffee and conversation on a word to meditate upon for the week. If you need help with Zoom or have trouble with the link, please email me.  Blessings as we await the coming of Christ, Pastor Skyle
