Paper Recycling Bin -Trinity will no longer be collecting paper in the recycling bin in the church parking lot. The company who supplied the dumpster had become very unreliable and we have had the dumpster re-moved.

Narthex Update -As you enter the narthex you will notice some changes. The mailboxes have been relocated and are now on the wall to the right as you enter. Getting everyone's mailbox to this location will take place by January. The mailboxes out-side the office will not be moved put those people will be relocated to the narthex. Staff mailboxes will remain in the lobby. We have created a welcome counter where the greeter will be located, an information corner and we have condensed the refreshment area. The Welcome team is excited about creating a more inviting space that in the near future will also include places for minis-try information, volunteer opportunities and a sign up area for events. This is a work in progress!

The Welcome Team

Bells! Bells! -Lets play some bells! (And drums, and guitars, and other stuff) Next Thursday, November 21 from 6:30 - 7:30 we will have a meeting to re-establish our bell choir and play some music. Part of the hour will be spent just getting to know each other and talking about the desired direction for the choir moving forward. I have no preconceived ideas of what I think it should be or do. I just know that bell music is beautiful, and we should add it back to worship!Choir rehearsal will also be on Thursday nights beginning the 21st at 7:30. There will be some coffee and tea to enjoy as we share music and fellowship. Come out and sing a little, ring a little, or just enjoy being at Trinity. There is no long term commitment. You don't need to guarantee you'll make every rehearsal, or play and sing perfectly. You just have to have the desire to share music at whatever ability level you possess.I'm also looking for guitar players, and maybe some percussion, brass, woodwinds, etc ,etc.

Mission Possible- Over the years, our mission trip teams have helped at various sites, repairing and rebuilding homes for families affected by floods/hurricanes and tornadoes. West Virginia is still in need of assistance rebuilding after massive floods in 2016 and they have recently received grants to help support their restoration. If you are interested in being part of a work team in the coming year, please contact Lynn Chialastri at lmchialastri@shannondell.com or speak with her on Sunday morning. No work experience is necessary – _only willing hands and hearts. However, if you do have handyman or specific repair skills, we can surely use you to teach the rest of us!

Daily Bread Food PantryDaily Bread is specifically in need of the following items:

Diced or Whole Tomatoes—NOT Spaghetti Sauce

Canned Vegetables—Mixed Veggies, Corn, String Beans

Our New Seminarian —We officially welcome Vicar Rebekah Nelson as our 2019-2020 field education student. Vicar Rebekah is in her first year at United Lutheran Seminary, after serving 12 years in the United States Marine Corps. She is currently serving in the United States Army Reserve, which means that one Sunday a month, she will be with us in spirit as she serves. Upon completion of her seminary degree and first call in a congregation, Vicar Rebekah hopes to continue to serve in active duty as a U.S. Army Chaplain. We are grateful for your presence with us, and for your service to our country, Vicar Rebekah! Welcome.

A field education student serves for 8-10 hours a week, with the intention to help the student move from lay leader-ship into a pastoral role. A typical week includes Sundays at Trinity, and supervisory sessions with Pastor Skyle on a regular basis. The field ed student is not a full-time intern or part-time co-op student (as Vicar Micah was.)
